Thank you very much for this podcast. It was very helpful. At the very least, it is nice to hear that others struggle with the same issues that we do in our group!

Part of our issue is that our current study is from a set resource - Preparing for Adolscence by Focus on the Family - James Dobson. It is a great study and relevant to our students, but the set program can take the whole 2 hours we have for the evening if we aren't careful. We have worked on shortening it a bit so there is still time for games. We absolutely do try to choose the "games" so that they fit the theme of the evening. Egad idea's helps a lot!

I plan on looking at the book recommendation from Ian - it sounds perfect. By the way Ian, check out your insurance coverage to get your windshield replaced - I would hate to hear about a "decapitation" incident! For others with a "chip", the windshield repair shops can fix a chip for next to nothing so that it does't develop into a crack.

There were some other very helpful tidbits in this podcast and I look forward to listening to future episodes.

Blessings,
Bill Morgan

Hey Ken... well, the last month was a "perfect storm" of chaotic events that had us cancelling recordings each week. Our goal is to record every Wednesday night at 7pm and so far <fingers crossed> we're on tap to get together tonight.

We also recorded last week and it's waiting to be edited by myself. As you can imagine, listening to Ian for another 40 mins is enough to make anyone procrastinate as long as possible. Maybe I'll chip away at it this afternoon. :)

Hey listened to Double Digits! Lots of fun. I wish you would only speak in KJV for a whole podcast! That would be interesting.

Maybe you should run Ian off cue cards? You wont be getting me on the Couch. LOL

You need to put these out more often or make them longer, now I have to wait another month!!!! You had three in October and November what gives? Blessings from the Yankees
